William P. Simon

Born March 31st, 1942 in Appleton, WI to Herbert and Carolyn Simon. Passed away on Sunday, July 26th, 2026 at the age of 84.

Will be deeply missed by his wife Shirley, son David (Angie), step-children Laura (the late Jim) Beier, Brian (Lina) Badura & Joel (Julie) Badura. Grandfather of Charles (Abigail), Caroline, Sophia, Andrew, Carson, Adam, Sean, Logan & Gavin. Preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Julianne Simon and his parents Herbert and Carolyn. Further survived by brothers Robert (the late Sandra), Michael and Richard; sisters Mary Kay (the late Michael) Giles, Suzanne (Larry) Wade and Jeanne (Rock) Kanyuh.

Bill retired from Wauwatosa West H.S. in 1999 where he was an AP Chemistry teacher. He also served as a Vice Principal at Tosa West-was an active cross-country and tennis coach, Key Club and Demo Club advisor, WEA president and a long-time sub for Greendale H.S. He will be missed by a host of friends, colleagues and former students.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 at 9 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3722 S. 58th St., Milwaukee, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. The Funeral Services at the Church will be livestreamed beginning at 10 AM at: https://www.youtube.com/@ololmke/streams Private family interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee.
