James W. Harasymiw

Born in Ukraine on May 23, 1943, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at the age of 83.

Loving husband of Susan Seaberg. Dear father of the Charles Harasymiw, Andrew (Lauren) Harasymiw and the late Michael Harasymiw. Grandfather of Elizabeth Harasymiw. Brother of Oksana (David) Carlson and Ola (the late Gregory) Zyszkiewicz. Further survived by "adopted son" Wayne Yee, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his late wife Julie Seaberg.

James received a Masters Degree from Marquette University and his Doctorate in Psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. He developed and received a patent for the early detection of alcohol. He had a private practice for 20 years in Big Bend, WI, then spent the remainder of his career as a forensic psychologist for the State of Wisconsin. James, with his partner Dennis Doren, published numerous astronomical research papers.

Visitation will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at 3 PM, followed by a funeral service and Panakhyda at 4 PM. Private interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
