Wauwatosa, WI — Kenneth G. Shelton, 71, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Froedtert Hospital.
Born December 9, 1954, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, he was the son of Clyde and Florence (nee Styczinski) Shelton. Kenneth graduated from Greenfield High School and later earned his degree from MSOE.
Kenneth was the loving husband of Mary A. (nee Fuchs) Shelton, who preceded him in death. Their marriage was a partnership marked by devotion, faith, and mutual support. Kenneth carried Mary’s memory with him every day, honoring her through the way he lived and the love he continued to give their family.
Throughout his career, Kenneth worked as a technology project manager for several companies, where he was respected for his steady leadership, thoughtful approach, and commitment to doing things the right way. He had a deep love for God, family, country, and music, and these values shaped every part of his life.
Kenneth was known for his patience, his gentle encouragement, and his ability to bring out the best in others. He consistently put people before himself, offering kindness, guidance, and quiet strength. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Kenneth is survived by his children through marriage, Jennifer (Anthony) Mier and Jeremy (Gretchen) Kletzien; and grandchildren Austin and Aaron Burgett; his siblings John (Roberta) Shelton, Rose (John) Philips, Valarie Dybedahl, and Clifford (Mary) Shelton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Mary, and his brothers Daniel and Todd Dybedahl.
A funeral service and interment for family and friends will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Arlington Park Cemetery, 4141 S. 27th St., Greenfield, WI 53221.
