Donald F. Wiesen

Donald Forrest Wiesen, 90, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026.
Donald was born in Mineral Point, Wisconsin on November 16, 1935 to Elmer and Mary (nee Hocking) Wiesen. After graduation, he served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. After serving, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he worked as a barber and factory foreman. During this time he met his wife Grace and raised two daughters.
After retiring, Donald and Grace moved to Hots Springs Village, Arkansas, where they enjoyed 27 years together. Following Grace’s passing, Donald returned to Milwaukee to be closer to his children.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan (David) Fullington and Sandra Wiesen; and his grandchildren, Lindsay, Scott and Zachary. Also survived by many relatives and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Grace Wiesen (nee Shaw); his parents, and 5 siblings, Milton Wiesen, Lorraine Byous, Eileen Thomas, Joan James and Ernest Wiesen.
Donald was a quiet, kind and dependable man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family. He took great pride in his home and could often be found fixing something, working around the house and making sure it was clean and neat.
A life-long sports fan, Donald enjoyed both playing and watching sports, with a special love for golf. He was also a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. But above all, Donald treasured his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren
Donald will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will remain with them always.
Thank you to the caregivers at the Milwaukee Veterans Hospital and to Hart Park Square for making him feel welcome and comfortable.
