Mark Andrew Glembin

With gratitude for a life filled with music, love, and kindness, we celebrate Mark Andrew Glembin, who died on August 25, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the age of 66.

Born on May 10, 1960, Mark built a rich life rooted in an insatiable curiosity, filled with the people and places he loved. Mark graduated from Pulaski High School and went on to build a career marked by dedication, expertise and craftsmanship. Mark worked for 38 years at WE Energies, but held a deep love for his earlier work as a welder at Harnischfeger. Mark was a proud member of Local 317 International Union of Operating Engineers, a talented wood worker, machinist, and geographic savant whose gifts showed in both his work and the way he moved through the world Mark had an eclectic taste in music, art, astronomy, animals, and nature.

He loved watching the moon rise over Lake Michigan and annually hiking the Spring Green Preserve bluff with Renee and sitting by the Wisconsin River afterwards enjoying a glass of wine with her. He was a truly generous, wise and sensitive soul. Some of his happiest times were spent with his family, going to concerts, supporting local bands, and heading out to Milwaukee festivals. He enjoyed classic movies, walking his dogs, riding his bike, frequenting local restaurants and working outdoors watching for the swans at Wind Lake. He also loved playing with his grandkids, grand-pups, grand-pigs and grand-cats and sharing in the simple pleasures that made life bright.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Renee; his wonderful children, Gina (Nygel) Nabong, Zachary (Jalesa) Glembin, Amber (Milan) Glembin, and Logan (Zoe) Glembin; cherished granddaughter Quinn Nabong; and beloved heart-grandson, Dylan White; his loving mother, Janice Glembin; his sisters, Margaret Glembin and Maria Gaido; his sisters-in-law, Kathy, Cheryl and Mary and his many nieces, nephews and dear family friends, Ron and Kathy Rafalski.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Glembin; his sister Monica Glembin; grandparents, Joseph and Gertrude Rusin; grandparents Frank and Sophie Glembin; Aunt Marcy Glembin; Uncle Harweld Glembin; Aunt Helen and Uncle Anthony Rozwadowski; Aunt Carol and Uncle Donald Bieszk; Aunt Bernadine Glowacki; cousins, brothers-in-law, and young niece.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Kosciuszko Community Center, 2201 S. 7th Street, Milwaukee. Food, music, and memories will be shared. Jeans, jean jackets, and band T-shirts are strongly encouraged.


In lieu of flowers, please honor Mark by: being kind to a neighbor, putting out peanuts for the squirrels, saying hello to neighborhood dogs, bringing home a good branch or stone, checking your cars tire pressure, and voting.
