Michael E. Cassidy

Michael E. Cassidy, born in Aurora, IL, but a resident of Wisconsin since the 1980's, passed away on January 23rd, 2026 after a brief illness, at the age of 76, while under the care of Accentcare Hospice.

He is the beloved husband of Ruth Ann (nee Langowski) Cassidy, and dear brother of Mary (Jesse) Storey, Jim (Suzanne) Cassidy and Mark (Teri) Cassidy. He is further survived by the Oconnell family, nieces, nephews, his best friend Bill (Linda) Nuccio, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his father Don Cassidy, mother Patricia (nee Oconnell) Cassidy and brother Chuck Cassidy.

Mike worked in sales most of his life. He sold cars at Renner Oldsmobile, then worked as an independent sales representative for Lawson Products, an Illinois-based company.

Mike loved fishing, taking annual trips to Minocqua, WI. He also loved spending time with friends, and enjoyed our "trying out" of new eating venues.

He will be deeply missed by all.

Visitation for his Celebration of Life will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3722 S. 58th St., Milwaukee, on Thursday, March 26th, 2026 from 10-11 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
