Grace M. Obukowicz

 

Beloved wife of the late Marion “Buck”. Loving mother of Mark (Rosie), Tom (Karen), and mother-in-law of Marcia Obukowicz. Dearest grandmother of Luke (Melissa) and Lucy Obukowicz. Great grandmother of Madelyn and Amelia. Dear sister of Marie Dejewski. Preceded in death by her parents Tony and Helen (Nee Walendowski) and her son Tim Obukowicz. Further survived by other relatives and friends.  

 

Grace and Buck enjoyed over 30 years of fun and relaxation at their Rock River Leisure Estates vacation property where they made many close friends. Grace was a longtime Educator, who loved teaching until she was nearly 80 years of age. She was the nucleolus of her family, who always had a special smile and kind heart. She truly enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, and making special memories for everyone.

 

Grace had a passion for creating flower gardens and landscaping that was absolutely beautiful. If Grace was seen out in the yard, most likely she had a shovel in her hand. Her favorite flowers were Purple Cone and Black-Eyed Susan. When the snow was falling, Grace loved to cross country ski and snowshoe with family members and friends, along with her golden retrievers following at her side.

 

A Mass Intention is scheduled at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 5571 S. Marilyn St., Milwaukee, on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the 10:30 AM Mass.
