Greg Carerros

Greg Carerros

Passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the age of 66 years.

Loving partner of Jean Krueger. Dear father of Alisha Carerros, Amy (Andrew) Carerros-Worswick and Emily Krueger, and grandfather of 4. Brother of Jackie (Londo) Reyes, Charlotte Gruszynski, Henry (Darlene) Carerros, Ginger (Jim) Rehfeldt, Teri Salas, Shelly (Richard) Raml, Ronnie Carerros, Bonnie (Jose) Corona and Wendy (Craig) Kasten.
Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Dolores Carerros, best friend and identical twin brother Jeff, and his sisters Sharon, Sandy (Phil) Skramstad, and brothers-in-law Bob Gruszynski and Jim Salas.

Greg joined the Muller Fasching Verein sometime around 2008 as a Halbweisse. Over the years he performed and went on to become president for the 2012-2013 season as well as 2013-2014 season. The last few years he had battled with some health issues and was unable to perform as often as he liked, to the point of being unable to perform. Greg still called all the time during the season to see how it was going and catch up.

In addition, he was a proud member of D’Oberlandlers and Spielmannszug Milwaukee. He stepped down from the Muller presidency to become the president of the Spielmannszug, which he also reigned for a season as their Prinz and was an active player in the Drum & Bugle Corps.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 2-6 PM at the Bavarian Bierhaus, 700 W. Lexington Blvd., Glendale, WI 53217, with a Memorial Service at 4 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are greatly appreciated.
