Shawn David Millin

January 8th, 1968 - December 8th, 2025

Shawn David Millin, age 57 years, passed away unexpectedly on December 8th, 2025 due to a heart attack. 

He was born in Lacrosse, WI to Janice and David Millin. His family later relocated to Germantown where Shawn attended Germantown High School, then known as Washington High School. He followed his family ties to the University of Kansas where he majored in Economics and proudly cheered on his beloved Jayhawk Basketball team celebrating their 1988 National Championship.

Shawn followed his passion, starting his own Audio Video company, DaVinci Media, where he built a career doing what he loved. 

He greatly enjoyed traveling the world, counting Dublin, Ireland as one of his favorite trips, combining his love of music with his great joy of being a father. Shawn loved and adored his sons Conner David (Kayleigh) Millin and Hunter Lee (Olivia) Millin. He was especially excited about Hunter and Olivia’s recent engagement, and looked forward to one day becoming a grandfather. 

Shawn was preceded in death by his parents David Millin and Janice Millin, grandparents Evangeline and Melvin Butzman and Agnes and Keith Millin, and aunt Judith Wilkins. 

He is survived by his sons Conner Millin, Hunter Millin, sister Shellee Millin Kremer, nieces Morgan Kremer, Meredith Kremer, and Mallory Kremer, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and good friends who will miss him greatly. 

A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held at a future date.
