Santiago Ramirez

Santiago Ramirez, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 17th, 2025 in his residence surrounded by his lovely family. He was born on May 5th, 1946 in El Desagüe in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. 


Santiago is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Ramirez, with whom they share their lovely children; Jorge, Sergio (Maria), Roberto, Juan Carlos (Danielle), Norma Patricia (Moises), Laura (Juan) and Enrique; his 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 


Santiago was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Dolores Reyes and Eulalio Ramirez. As well as his Sisters Antonia-Antonio (husband), Maria- Filiberto (husband), Maria Del Rosario- Eliberto (husband) and his brother Juan Ramirez. 


Santiago’s passion for soccer has been passed down to his family. He loved music, dancing, singing and just having a great time with his family was his priority. 


Santiago was well known in the community. Even as his dementia progressed and he started to not remember people he would always keep that smile on when he was approached. He was respected and loved by many people. 


Visitation will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home on Thursday, April 24th, 2025 from 4-7 PM, with a Vigil Prayer at  6:30 PM. Visitation will also be held at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church (Iglesia San Jacinto), 1414 W. Becher St., Milwaukee, on Friday, April 25th, 2025, from 10 -10:45 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment Good Hope Cemetery, 4141 S. 43rd St., Greenfield.
