Robert F. Koch
Robert F. Koch

Robert Frank Koch, born June 8, 1942, entered Eternal Life on February 9, 2026. Surrounded by his family, Bob passed peacefully after a stay at Zilber Family Hospice, finally free of the physical pain he had so long endured.
A loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to so many, Bob was an honorable US Army veteran. During his service, Bob enjoyed his three years stationed in Germany and even attended The Masters golf tournament assigned to a military detail. Upon his return home, Bob embarked on an esteemed career of thirty-one years with General Electric and was a proud member of their Quarter-Century Club.
An avid golfer and exceptional bowler, Bob could still feel the sting of the standing 8-pin that long ago robbed him of his nearly perfect 300 game try, leaving him with his lifelong personal best of 289. He also loved playing sheepshead and cribbage with his family on so many holidays and happy occasions over the years.
Especially close to his heart were the precious memories of the time spent living in Nevada with his beloved wife Georgian. Over the journey of their lives together, whether up or down for forty-five years, they were always by each other’s side.
Bob’s memory will be cherished by those who knew him best. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leona (nee Spors) and Frank Koch, and his wife Georgian. He is survived by his brother, Jerry (Karen) Koch along with many other valued relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, June 6th, 2026, at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home, 5355 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, WI, with visitation at 11 AM, a military honor guard at Noon, followed by a brief service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI are welcome.
