Robert Brunt

Age 87. Passed into Eternity on August 7, 2022 surrounded by family at his residence in Oak Creek. Born January 24, 1935 in Portage, WI to George Brunt and Mary Burton (nee Kornacki).

After high school he joined the US Navy and served in the Korean Conflict. After he was honorably discharged, Bob worked for the Milwaukee Railroad until his retirement. He married Joan (nee Downey) on Nov. 11, 1961.

Loving father of Ann (Mike) Soltis and James (Lisa) Brunt. Further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Gerry Burton and other relatives. Bob was preceded in death by his parents George and Mary, stepfather Robert Burton, brother James Brunt (Jane), and step-brother Robert “Little Bob” Burton.

Bob loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening and his family.

Funeral Services will be celebrated on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Mukwonago Baptist Church, 1610 Honeywell Rd., Mukwonago. Visitation will precede the Service starting at 10 A.M. Concluding prayers and Military Honors will take place immediately following the service at Baptist Memorial Cemetery.

Mukwonagobaptist.org will livestream the Service beginning at 10 AM on the day of the Service.
