Richard F. Zainer

Richard Francis Zainer passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 86. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Madeline. Loving father of Mark of Denver, CO, Thomas (Betty) and Carolyn of Newport Beach, CA. Dear grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 2. Also survived by his brother John Zainer (Ille), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Richard was an avid fisherman his whole life, casting for that champion Musky. He had a special interest in airplanes and attended the Air Show in Oshkosh for many years, collecting great photos and memorabilia. He will be remembered by all family and friends as the “guy who lit up the room”. His sense of humor, endless jokes, and uncanny wit will be missed but remembered always.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10am – 11am, with a Memorial Service at 11am - 11:30am.
