Phillip P. Nowicki

Phil Nowicki, 96, passed away at home on March 3, 2021. Loving husband of Mary (nee McGuire) for 64 years. Proud father of Paul (Susanne), Bill (Elizabeth) and Tom (Sandra). Beloved grandfather of Christy and Justin.

Phil served in the 104th Infantry Division in Europe during WWII, a unit with 195 consecutive days of front line combat as they progressed from France to Eastern Germany. After the war he graduated from Marquette University and had a long career in the City of Milwaukee’s Tax Department. He enjoyed a healthy and active retirement and kept a beautiful garden (“Nowicki Park”) until his death.

He was a founding member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 3722 S. 58th Street, Milwaukee, where the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of Mass.
