Patrick Thomas Kline

Patrick Thomas Kline, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Born on December 12, 1934 in Milwaukee to Alan Patrick “Pat” Kline and Bernice Catherine Kline.
 
Survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Rita Kline, his children Patrick (Joy), Mary and Mark (Jennifer) Kline, his grandchildren Alex, Jessica and Sarah Kline, and his sister Sharon (Steven) Henderson. Preceded in death by his sister Carol Kline.
 
Patrick graduated from Bay View High School and then attended The Layton School of Art. He served in the National Guard and then the US Army, stationed at Camp (now Fort) Gordon outside of Augusta, Georgia.
 
Upon returning to Milwaukee, Patrick worked for AC Electronics (now AC Delco) - A GM company. He was also known for decorating the window displays at the downtown Milwaukee Boston Store where he was employed in their Visual Arts Department. The Christmas displays were his favorite and the talk of the town!
 
Patrick was an accomplished Graphic Artist - Illustrator. He left AC Delco and formed Datacom Associates (later known as Argus) with his colleagues, and served as Executive Vice President. He would later form US Graphics, where he was the sole owner and CEO.
 
Patrick enjoyed painting, especially his own versions of many Picasso classics. Additionally, he loved cooking, card playing, golfing, James Bond, Frank Sinatra, broasted chicken, and watching NFL games as well as auto races, especially the Indy 500. As a diehard Packers fan, he was the first in the extended family to install a powered TV antenna to watch Packers games that were blacked out in Milwaukee! His favorite place of pleasure was Lake Beulah, enjoying boating, fishing, and cookouts with family. 

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Greenfield, 8500 W. Coldspring Rd., followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 AM.
