Madalyn Swanda

Madalyn Alice Swanda (Le Veque) passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025 at the age of 84.

She was born on November 14, 1940 to Raymond Le Veque and Elvera Gruenwald. She married her true love, Clarence Swanda who preceded her in death in 1971. She spent the remainder of her life with her longtime love, Elmer (Cochise) Metoxen who preceded her in death in 2009.

Madalyn’s hands were rarely still. She enjoyed bowling, doing puzzles, traveling, bird watching and spending time with her family. She also shared her love of baking cakes & cookies and making jelly with her daughters. Madalyn was a homemaker until her children were grown, then retired from the Medical College of Wisconsin after 33 years of service. She was a long-time resident of Cudahy, WI.

Madalyn is survived by her siblings Shirley (Bob) Chipman, Yvonne Smith and Wayne (Andrea) Le Veque, her beloved son Eric Swanda, her daughters Pam Howard, Cyndi Swanda, Kris (Scott) Malmberg, Valerie (Chris) Moen and Sheila (Marcial) Serrano, 21 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, all whom she loved and touched deeply.
