Dwayne G. Buker

On Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, at the age of 78, Dwayne George Buker went into the presence of his beloved Lord and Saviour.

Dwayne faithfully served the Lord the last 48 years of his life in Spain, spending forty of these years in the province of Asturias (his adopted homeland). He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Rachael, his mother, Jean Buker, and a young child. He will be remembered by his family with great affection, knowing that they will see him again in Glory. He was a beloved father to his children: Rebekah (Buker) Quimby and son-in-law Dan; Ruthann Buker; Jeremy Buker and daughter-in-law Elizabeth; Jonathan Buker; Rhoda Buker and son-in-law Alex Mendez; Jesse Buker; and Roseanne Buker. He also dearly loved his grandchildren: Leilani, Natalia, Jackson, Oliver, Daniel, Ian, and the youngest who will be born in April. He will be greatly missed by his sister, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and also by the members of the Faith Bible Baptist Church of Oviedo, Spain.

Verses that greatly encouraged Dwayn e when he lost his wife, Rachael, were Isaiah 26:3-4, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. T rust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.”
