Cecile M. Mahuta

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026 at the age of 99 years.

Beloved wife of the late Leonard Mahuta Sr. Loving mother of Kenneth (Lynn), Dennis (the late Dee), Diane (the late William) Soderbeck, Leonard Jr. (Sandra), Richard (Margery), the late Michael (Marybeth), Sharon (Paul) Rusch, Sue Mahuta and Janeen Tuzzolino. Further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her grandson Joseph Mahuta and great-grandson Jacob Anthony Tuzzolino.

The family would like to give special thanks to Horizon Hospice and Layton Terrace Senior Living Center for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 from 9-10:45 AM, with a family eulogy at 10:45 AM, and the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery, 3564 S. 13th St., Milwaukee.
