Terrence "Terry" L. Zylka

Terry passed away quietly at home on December 22nd, 2024 at the age of 83, with his beloved wife Katherine at his side.

Terry is survived by his wife Katherine (nee Wos), daughter Jen (Tom) Sauer, son Chris (Deb), grandchildren Megan, Haley, and Alex Zylka, and Max Sauer. Also survived by sisters Marbeth (Don) Bierbasz and Tina (Gary) Dorgay, sister in-laws Veronica Wos and Margaret (Colleen) Wos, and brother in-law Stan (Gail) Wos. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Terry was a graduate of Don Bosco High School and UWM. He worked at Pabst Brewery, Blackhawk Tanning, Maple Leaf Farms and most recently at the TSA.

Terry loved his "4 F’s" - Family, Faith, Food and Football! As long as he was able, he was at every one of his grandkid's sporting events, sitting in the front row cheering them on. Terry also had a lifetime love affair with the Green Bay Packers, including being a proud stockholder. You could see him most game days wearing his Zubaz pants!

Terry volunteered  throughout his life, notably at Pius XI Father’s Club and St. Vincent De Paul Parish, as a eucharistic minister, usher and treasurer. 

Terry loved a party, especially if there was lots of good food involved! Favorites included Polish sausage, Spanish peanuts, months old Peeps, anything bakery related and Chopin vodka.

Our family would love it if you would join us in celebrating Terry’s life on Sunday, January 19th, 2025 from 12-3 PM at Joe’s K Ranch, 4840 S. Whitnall Ave., in Cudahy, WI. Food and beverages will be served.
