Shirley J. Pliszka

Passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025 at the age of 73.

Loving sister of Wally (Sue) Pliszka, Ann (John) Emer and Dan (Molly) Pliszka. Further survived by nieces, a nephew, other relatives and friends.

Shirley was a long time teacher at Yorkville Elementary in Union Grove, WI and a proud graduate of UW Madison.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Dickson Hollow and Brighton Hospice for their compassionate care of Shirley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3722 S. 58th St., Milwaukee, 53220, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Private interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church are appreciated.
