Sally was an employee of BMO Harris Bank, and loved her co-workers there. She was a proud graduate of Marquette University. Sally’s greatest joy in life was her 3 children – she was known to them as “smother”, because she couldn’t get enough of them. She cherished her precious time with her children till the end. Sally was the youngest daughter in her family, with 4 older sisters and 2 younger brothers. She added her own special spark and “laugh cannon” to family gatherings, and now leaves a huge quiet hole in all her family’s hearts. Sally loved swimming her entire life, visiting lakes and the ocean anytime she could. Sally was on her high school swim team. She took annual family vacations to northern Wisconsin ever since she was a baby – visiting many Wisconsin lakes, including Friess Lake, Lake Puckaway and finally Trade Lake, where so many great memories were made. Sally will be greatly missed by friends and family too numerous to count. We all cherish our memories of Sally, and will “pay forward” her never-ending optimism and love of life as our tribute to her.

The family would like to thank both the caring staff at St. Luke’s Medical Center Neuro ICU for the precious gift of extra time with Sally, as well as at Zilber Family Hospice for the peaceful goodbye.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the “Sally E. Koehn Trust” are appreciated.
