Ruth M. Scherkenbach

Ruth Margaret Scherkenbach, 71, died peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Emily (nee Herda) Scherkenbach and her sister Mary Litzau.

Ruth loved spending time with family and friends. She had a beautiful soul, and the most generous heart. She loved being with her cats, and her interests varied, but she most loved the arts.

Ruth will forever be missed by her sisters Diane (Fred) Zauner, Judy Scherkenbach, Linda (Wayne) Bellen, 13 nieces and nephews, and many other dear relatives and friends.

A special thanks to the Clifden Court Assisted Living team, and Allay hospice, for their loving care and kindness to Ruth and her family.

Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 4 PM, followed by a memorial service at 5 PM. Interment will be held at a future date.
