Rita F. Koester

Rita F. Koester (nee Komassa) was born to Eternal Life Thursday January 21, 2021 at age 90. She was reunited with her beloved late husband, Arthur C. Koester.

Rita was special. Within moments of meeting, her friendly conversation would immediately put anyone at ease. She was a feisty woman who loved her family immensely. She prided herself on maintaining relationships with brothers, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews; there was a card for everyone for every occasion. Her love and adoration for her husband Arthur was never ending. She was a huge fan of WI Badgers football, basketball, and the Packers. Those who knew her best knew not to call her during Jeopardy! Rita was known for always having bakery on her kitchen counter, a crossword book open and chewing gum in her mouth. Her stories, her optimism and her loving support will be missed to infinity.

Loving mother of Joydel Robertson. Proud grandmother of Laura Robertson and Amy Robertson. Blessed with one great-granddaughter, Gabriela Figueroa. Survived by her brothers David Komassa (Carol) and Gary Komassa (Tina). Preceded in death by her dear older sister Delphine (nee Komassa) Parker. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 at Bruskiewitz Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, with a service to follow.
