Michael Allen Pelzek

Born December 5, 1972. He was welcomed to his eternal gathering on September 10, 2021, into the loving arms of his mother Sharon, his sister Debra Milone, and his grandpa Joseph Rygiel, along side loved ones called home before him. Loving dad to Samantha (Kyle), Brandon (Katie), and Rebecca. Watchful grandpa to the grandchildren he was so pleased to welcome and those still to join us. Friend and parent to the end with Taunya Taylor. Son to Dan Pelzek. Baby brother to Joseph Pelzek. Brother at heart to many more. Playful uncle and father figure to the many children who felt at home under his roof. A love of working along side his grandpa early in his life gave way to a childhood of tinkering within the walls of his home and a lifetime as a proud provider and plumber. His contentment was in a simple and honest life, with his door open to the ones he loved- a home cooked meal and an ice cold beer surely at hand. His contagious laughter will ring out still in our every cinematic adventure, day of football consumption, or as we await the tug of the fishing line. His patience in always carefully choosing a fight, and his courage in his bold last fight, live on in us always. In his final days, he left these words to live by, “I’m happy. Be happy.”
