Leopoldo "Polo" Balderas Jr.

The world became brighter on January 3, 1950, the day Leopoldo Balderas Jr. was born.


Leopoldo Balderas Jr. "Polo", 74, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away on Feb 17, 2024.


Leo was passionate about his work, his family and life. He was a hard worker his whole life as he was the oldest of 15 brothers and sisters.


He took pride in his accomplishments both in his work and with his family. In his free time he enjoyed going to the movies, playing poker and being around family and friends.


Leo will be deeply missed by his wife, Andrea Balderas. He is survived by his children, Maria Singh-Balderas, Leo Balderas III, Veronica Sosa, Marcos Balderas and Delia Balderas. Leo leaves a legacy behind of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Ray Balderas, parents Leo Sr. and Martina Balderas, his siblings; Frank, Steve and Richard Balderas and Rosemary Morales.

 

Pop, you were a force of strength and a guiding light in our lives and especially today we are reminded of how blessed we are to have had you for as long as we did. Rest now Pop, we love you and we will always remember you!


Visitation will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home, 5355 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 1-4 PM, with a Funeral Service from 4-5 PM. Private interment.
