Kathy Mittelstadt

Kathy Ann Mittelstadt, 72, of Milwaukee, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Dycora Transitional Health & Living in Milwaukee after a courageous battle with renal disease. Private burial will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Kathy was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on July 14, 1948 to Donald and Betty (Hansen) Mittelstadt. She grew up in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, graduating from Rice Lake High School in 1966. In 1970 she graduated from Whitewater State University earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. In 2005 she became a paralegal.

Kathy was an avid reader, but her true passion was Natural Habitat Gardening. She spent many hours researching, designing and maintaining her garden. Her companions through life were her loyal puppies - Tara, Kojak, Blitzen, Hopscotch and Shakespeare. For many years she was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Congregation.

She is survived by her sister Corine; brother-in-law Gary; and nephews, Bryan and Brad.
