Harry Schweitzer

Harry “Sonny” Schweitzer found peace on May 25, 2021 surrounded by family at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Mila) for over 46 years. Father of Denise (Nee Raasch) (Tony) Koepp, Deborah Raasch, Brian (Drumonya “Leigh”) and Lori Stern.

Loving grandfather to Brittany, Brandon, Scott, Sar-Fari, Christian, Madia, Zarriah, Jeremy and Tyler. Loving great-grandfather to Aubriana.

Dear brother of LaVerne (the late Teddy) Knippel, Jeanette (the late Dan) Blawat and Joanne (the late Jim) Shallock.

Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Laura, sibling Rose (Richard) Siskoy and granddaughter Miranda.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Born in and life long resident of Milwaukee. Briefly resided in Hales Corners during his early childhood years.

Harry was a former long time employee of the City of Milwaukee Sanitation Dept., retired 16 years.

Harry loved deer hunting, fishing, dartball, baseball, golfing and bowling. He also loved any activities that involved spending time with family and friends.

Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 1:00-4:00 pm, with a service at 4:00 pm.
