Elaine S. Lahti

(Nee Impola).  Joined her beloved husband Toivo in Heaven on August 6, 2021 at the age of 93. 

Loving mother of Aina (Michael) Lasky.  Dear grandmother of Clarissa Lasky.   Fond sister of Hilma Rantanen.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11 AM at the funeral home, with visitation from 10 AM until time of Service. Interment at Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood, MI.

Elaine was initially employed at Bally Engineering in Chicago where she helped manufacture pinball machines and Coke dispensing machines.  She even modeled for a Coca-Cola trade ad.  Elaine spent the final 35 years of her employment working for the Briggs and Stratton Corp. 

Elaine was the family caretaker, always looking after family members in times of need. She will be deeply missed. 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to your favorite children’s or animal charity in Elaine’s name.
