Dennis Francis Banach of Muskego died on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born in Milwaukee on June 16, 1938, the son of John and Victoria Banach. He was a graduate of Don Bosco High School and attended St. Martin’s College in Olympia, Washington. On September 2, 1961 he married Patricia Connelly in Walla Walla, Washington. While in Seattle he worked for the Seattle Times in Advertising. Then they moved back to Milwaukee in 1967 and he worked for the Milwaukee Journal and went on to selling insurance. He was a long time member of St. Martin of Tours Parish in Franklin and served as an usher and as a member of the school board for many years.
He will be missed by his wife of 63 years, Patsy, and their children, Michael D. (Sharon) Banach, John T. Banach, Dennis P. Banach, Erin K. (John) Maydak and Katie C. (John) Klein. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Jacklyn (Nick) Anderson, Cathryn (Adam) Erickson, Lauren (Josh) Wolszon, Sean Banach, Angelyn Banach, Kevin Banach, Zachary Maydak, Jacob Maydak, Rachel Maydak, Clara Klein, Luke Klein, Lydia Klein and his great grandchildren, Theo Anderson, Isla Anderson, Madelyn Erickson, Evelyn Erickson and Wynne Wolszon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, WI, 53132, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Private graveside services will be held for the family.
