Chor "Bee" Hiekkanen

Bee Hiekkanen, age 53, passed away at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee on Friday, September 3, 2021 after a brief illness.

Bee was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 26, 1968. Bee was the loving wife of Robert Hiekkanen whom she married on October 23, 2000, and the beloved daughter of Ser Heong Ng and Kim Heoh Lim. Bee came to the United States at the age of 18 to further her studies and graduated from the Oregon State University in 1992 with a bachelor degree in Business Administration. She was a resident of Waukesha.

Bee worked as a caregiver for the elderly and she served in the US Army in medical support at Fort Sam Houston, Texas and the US Army Reserve in Milwaukee. Honorable discharge and decorated US Army Veteran.

Bee enjoyed tai chi as a relaxing activity. Many flowers and vegetables were grown in the garden for years. Art designing brought out unique styles of paintings and personal material styles. Some art competitions brought out the best works. Spent many years with family activities. Supported local Veterans in as many ways possible.Loved family, Vets and God.

Visitation Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11 AM at Mukwonago Baptist Church, 1610 Honeywell Rd., Mukwonago, followed by a Funeral Service at 1 PM. Burial at Baptist Memorial Cemetery.
