Brian T. Cosson

Brian T. Cosson

Brian Thomas Cosson, age 49 of Greenfield, WI, passed away on April 11, 2023.

Brian had a passion for politics and enjoyed watching shows about cooking, fishing and cars. His favorite cooking show was Rachel Ray and another show he really enjoyed watching was Impractical Jokers. Brian was a quiet guy who usually kept to himself. He had a strong love for his family and always had a sense of humor which he used to tease his Mom and sister!

Brian is survived by his mother Maria Anderson and sister Doreen Cosson. Preceded in death by his father Thomas A. Cosson.
Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A special thanks to his Aunt Marisol for always helping with his doctors and other matters that he and his mom needed help with. The family would also like to thank his doctor, Dr. Karim Bakhtiar, for giving us many more years with him that we will all cherish for the rest of our lives. Thanks also to Dr. Victoria Fetter for always taking good care of him and his best interests, and  to the doctors and nurses at St. Luke’s Hospital and the University of Chicago Medical for giving him the best care possible.

Visitation will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 10am-12pm, with a funeral service at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, please keep the family in your thoughts.

This quote was given to us by Dr. Fetter. We all thought this was so fitting for Brian:
"On April 11, 1929, Sigmund Freud wrote to his friend the psychiatrist Ludwig Binswanger, who was grieving for the death of his eldest son, Robert, just 20 years old: ‘My daughter who died would have been thirty-six today… We know that the acute sorrow we feel after such a loss will run its course, but also that we will remain inconsolable, and will never find a substitute. No matter what may come to take its place, even should it fill that place completely, it remains something else. And that is how it should be. It is the only way of perpetuating a love that we do not want to abandon."
