Arlene V. Ostrenga

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Victoria, brothers Frank and Richard, sister-in-law Audrey Skotzke, daughter-in-law Deirdre Ostrenga and her beloved husband of 53 years, John.

Loving mother of John Ostrenga, Paul (Deborah) Ostrenga and Michael (Cheryl) Ostrenga. Dearest grandmother of Christopher, Joel, Lauren and Kelly Ostrenga. Further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

Arlene will also be greatly missed by her many friends from Spring Hill, Florida and Oconomowoc, Wisconsin where she lived during her retirement years.

Arlene was very involved at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where her three sons went to grade school. She participated in Christian Mothers and the Catholic Youth Organization. John and Arlene organized the first parish Fish Fry’s. She has stayed in contact with Father Dave Filut throughout the years. Arlene had a lifelong interest in rummage and yard sales, antiques and auctions and frequently provided family and friends with special home and personal gifts. She had many wonderful experiences when her grandchildren were young and came to spend summers in Florida. Her most memorable trip was traveling to Alaska in 2018 with her granddaughters Lauren and Kelly as she always wanted to see Denali.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3100 S. 41st Street, Milwaukee. Visitation Thursday at the Church from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, 3801 South Street, Milwaukee.

Goodbye cherished mother, grandmother and friend. You will always be in our hearts as you treasured and loved us all.
