Anneliese Ebeling

Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the age of 93 years.

Loving mother of Vera Ljiljana (Eric Sr.) Zorc. Dear grandmother of Eric James Zorc and Lisa Marie Zorc.

Preceded in death by her son Michael Simic, parents Karl and Ottilie (born Kamisek) Fröhlich, and siblings Bertold, Lieselotte, Helmut, Karl, Bernard, Werner and Erika Fröhlich.

Anneliese was born in Germany and worked as a nurse prior to immigrating to the U.S. Settling in Wisconsin, she worked as the head Food Service Manager at Marquette University for many years. She was a devout Christian who lived her faith often taking into her home friends and family that needed medical care or were experiencing financial hardship, always providing unconditional support and love to her family in the United States, Germany and France.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 1:30 – 3:30 PM at SS. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Church, 2505 S. 30th St., Milwaukee, WI 53215, followed by the Funeral Mass at 3:30 PM. Private Interment.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorials to the family are appreciated.

A very special thanks would like to be given to Anneliese’s daughter Vera who provided the best care to her mother in the last years of her life. As Anneliese sacrificed everything for her daughter during her life, Vera sacrificed everything to ensure her mother was as happy and comfortable as she could be in her last years.
