Mildred "Millie" Prijic

Mildred “Millie” Prijic (nee Varichak) peacefully went to Heaven to be with our Lord, Jesus, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the age of 91 years.

Loving mother of Susan (Jerry) Semrad, Daniel Jr. (Linda) Prijic and Sandra (Robert) Haning-Reuteler. Dearest grandmother of Tim (Erin), Amanda (Joel), Cassandra (Justin), Stephanie (Nolan), Richelle (John) and Christopher (Cynthia). Blessed with great-grandchildren Brooks, Everly, Beckett, Colten, Freya, August and Cole. Further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
 

Preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Sarah (nee Howard) Varichak, sister Bertha and brothers Michael, Daniel and Eli.

Millie was born in Gary Harbor, Indiana, and moved to Milwaukee in grade school. She graduated from South Division High School.
 
She and Daniel Prijic were married from 1955-1979. Employment included clerical, school crossing guard, inventory management, banking, and the Internal Revenue Service.

Life’s pleasures for Millie were camping, admiring nature’s gardens, landscape, oceans, crafts, sewing, dancing and reading. Her highest priority was family; her sense of humor carried her through good times and bad.

Dementia and Parkinson’s were health challenges that tested her strength, but she persevered. She will be missed by many, but her legacy continues.
 
Visitation will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home, 5355 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 3 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4 PM.
