Kay Mueller
Kay Mueller (nee Krueger) went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 5th, 2025 at the age of 87. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Rudi and children Kathryn (Uwe) Markiefka, Karl (Shannon) and Susan (David) Hunt. Loving Oma to Elodie, Madeline, Gretchen, Faith, Daniel, Alexander, David and Emily. Preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Adele and brother Randall.
Kay was a 1956 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School. She worked as a secretary at the Wisconsin Real Estate Examining Board, the UWM Field Station in Saukville and the UWM Foundation.
Kay was a long-time member of the D’Lustigen Wendlstoana Bavarian dance group and Carl Schurz Memorial Park in Stone Bank, WI.
Special thanks to Pastor Tim Maschke and the staff at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Grafton, and the caregivers at LaSata Care Center in Cedarburg and Aurora Hospital in Grafton, for their loving care and compassion. Angels often appear in human form.
Visitation will be held at 12 PM on Monday, December 15th, 2025 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton, WI 53024, followed by a Funeral Service at 2 PM. Private interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kay's memory are appreciated to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Grafton.
