Irma Nilda Crespo Gomez

Irma Nilda Crespo Gomez, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 12th, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the young age of 57. She was a beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother, and dear sister and friend. Was born on July 23rd, 1967, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to the late Carmen Maria Gomez Acevedo and Celedonio Crespo Soto.

Irma was a kind, warm, and fierce woman. She always put others before her and became like a second mother to many over the years. The love she had for her family was unwavering. While she had been dealing with health issues for a good part of her life, she was a fighter and her strength to keep going for her family was unconditional.

Irma was always welcoming and had a talent for making others feel safe and loved. She was generous and would give the clothes off her back to others in need if she needed to. Her zest for life for most of her life was inspiring. She was the most supportive woman to have in your corner and made you feel like you could achieve anything you set your mind to. She was also funny and could make everyone around her laugh. Her compassion shone through in everything she did. She enjoyed cooking, playing dominoes, writing, and watching novelas (soap operas). She was always a light even in the way she dressed in bold colors and gold jewelry. Her faith was a big part of her life, and she always put her trust in God.

Irma is survived by her beloved husband Edwin Colon, her loving daughters Emily Marie Colon and Roselyn Colon, her favorite granddaughter Anastasia Nicolet Ferrer Colon, and her dear brother Jose Alberto Crespo Gomez along with his family.

Irma is no longer in pain and finally at peace, reunited with her loving parents, who preceded her in death. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, and her memory will live on in each of us.

You can join us in her celebration of life on Friday July 25th, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home.

Service on Saturday July 26th, 2025 at 10:30am at Bruskiewitz Funeral Home.

Followed by burial at Forest Home Cemetery at 11:30am.

Irma Nilda Crespo Gomez, falleció pacíficamente el sábado 12 de julio del 2025, en Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a la edad temprana de 57. Era una amada esposa, madre y abuela amorosa, y querida hermana y amiga. Nació el 23 de julio del 1967 en Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, a la difunta Carmen Maria Gomez Acevedo y difunto Celedonio Crespo Soto.

Irma era una mujer amable, tierna y feroz. Siempre ponía a los demás antes que ella y se convirtió en una segunda madre a muchas a través de los años. El amor que tenía para su familia era inquebrantable. Mientras llevaba una buena parte de su vida batallando con problemas de salud, ella era una peleadora y su fuerza para seguir adelante por su familia era incondicional.

Irma siempre era acogedora y tenía un talento para hacer a otros sentirse seguros y amados. Era generosa y le daría la ropa de su espalda a otros que lo necesitaran si tuviera que hacerlo. Su entusiasmo para la vida por la mayor parte de su vida fue inspirante. Ella fue la mujer más apoyadora para tener en tu esquina, y te hacía sentir que podrías lograr cualquier cosa que te propongas. También era chistosa y podía hacer a todos alrededor de ella reír. Su compasión brillaba en todo lo que hacía. Ella le gustaba cocinar, jugar dominó, escribir y ver novelas. Ella siempre era una luz incluso en la manera que se vestía en colores llamativos y prendas de oro. Su fe fue una gran parte de su vida, y siempre puso su confianza en Dios.

Irma es sobrevivida por su amado esposo Edwin Colon, sus hijas amorosas Emily Marie Colon y Roselyn Colon, su favorita nieta Anastasia Nicolet Ferrer Colon, y su querido hermano José Alberto Crespo Gomez junto con su familia.

Irma ya no sigue en dolor y por fin está en paz, reunida con sus amorosos padres, que la precedieron en la muerte. Ella va a ser extrañada por todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerla, y su memoria vivirá en cada uno de nosotros.



Pueden unirse a nosotros para su celebración de vida el viernes 25 de julio del 2025 de 5:00pm a 7:30pm de la noche en el funeral Bruskiewitz.

El servicio será el sábado 26 de julio del 2025 a las 10:30am de la mañana en el funeral Bruskiewitz.

Seguido por el entierro en el Cementerio Forest Home at a las 11:30am de la mañana.
